Owner and Principal Designer, Lisa Foster, NCIDQ certified, holds a Master’s Degree in Interior Architecture from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design. After completing her undergraduate Fine Art degree from the University of Michigan, Lisa worked for several years in the New York fashion industry with cutting edge young designers, and in the Details Magazine fashion department. In 2005, she founded Reconstructure in Providence Rhode Island focusing on beautiful and sustainable residential and commercial projects. Reconstructure employs art and design education and experience to address Space, the ultimate three-dimensional design medium.
Reconstructure’s unique, environmentally conscientious interior and architectural solutions are attuned to each client’s space and lifestyle challenges, design needs, and aesthetic preferences. The designer-client relationship is essential, as is team work and collaboration from design through construction. The Reconstructure team is currently working on a range of residential and commercial interiors and small architectural projects in Rhode Island and along the East Coast.
